We specialise in the independent examination of small to medium sized charities with income ranging from £25,000 up to £500,000. We also offer these clients a wide range of other accountancy services and governance advice.
Providing that your governing document (trust deed or memorandum & articles of association) does not require you to have an audit and your charity's gross income exceeds £25,000 but does not exceed £500,000 for a financial year ending on or after 1 April 2009, then you require an independent examination.
Should the income level of your charity exceed £500,000 in a financial year then the charity will require an audit under the Charities Act 2006. Whilst we do not offer audit services, we have excellent working relationships with registered audit firms who can meet your compliance needs and we would be happy to make recommendations.
